So this was scheduled for Saturday, but with the craziness of the holidays it along with yesterday's and today's games are all being wrapped into one big package.
4 Dungeon World: This is one of those games that people seem split on with some loving it while others are hating it, but either way they're all talking about it. Honestly I'd love to see what all the fuss it about. more importantly from what I've seen and heard only the players roll dice which I'd love to see how that's handled. Personally I'm ok without having rolling as one of the many duties of GM and I'm always for forcing game runners into being flexible.
5 Ticket to Ride: Another one of those games that everyone seems to either be playing or have already played. This is another board game, but from what I've heard its both accessible for new players and offers plenty of challenge for those gaming pros. Building railways and connecting lines should offer plenty of competitive play and strategy between going for the most efficient path and cutting off routs of others.
6 Dixit: So this is an interesting one. It's a party game where you have to describe a picture. Sounds easy enough, but the catch is if you're too specific and EVERYONE picks your picture then everyone except you gets points. Instead you need to figure out ways to describe a picture so that most people will get it, but not everyone and that can be a challenge. It feels like one of those games to get creative juices flowing and more importantly get some of those friends that aren't as into table top gaming to get into the hobby.
